Plan design is very important as there is no one-size-fits-all plan. It is not uncommon for small businesses to save thousands of dollars by choosing one plan design over another while still meeting their plan goals. We are happy to provide illustrations to maximize key employee contributions or to incentivize rank-and-file contributions.

DOCUMENT

Master Benefit Group, Inc. sponsors documents pre-approved by the IRS for 401(k), profit sharing and 403(b) plans, including a document for use in implementing cross-tested, age-weighted and new comparability plans. Document services are also provided for defined benefit pension plans.

COMPLIANCE / ADMINISTRATION

The Benefit Compliance Department provides annual administration services for profit sharing, 401(k), 403(b), ESOP, 457 and defined benefit plans including compliance testing and preparation of required IRS and DOL forms.

TRUST ACCOUNTING

Staffed by accounting professionals, the Trust Accounting Department provides accounting services for all types and combinations of plan assets, including self-directed brokerage accounts.

EPCRS PLAN CORRECTIONS / CONSULTING

Master Benefit Group, Inc. provides consulting services, such as assistance with correction of operational errors under various IRS and DOL correction programs; IRS and DOL audit assistance; plan mergers and plan terminations.
